Sheree Bouchee is the Housing Strategist and Legislative Liaison for the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH). In her current role, Sheree provides technical assistance to Arizona's housing strategy and legislative efforts. She is also lead staff for the Department in supporting the Governor's Interagency and Community Council on Homelessness and Housing, a task force addressing our state's housing insecurity.
Prior to this current role, Sheree served as the ADOH Rental Program Administrator from 2021-2023 where she oversaw Arizona’s Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and rental development gap financing programs funded through HOME, National Housing Trust Funds and State Housing Trust Funds. During her time as Rental Program Administrator, she stewarded a 300% increase in rental production for Arizona’s low-to-moderate households.
Sheree has more than seventeen years of housing industry experience, and a depth of understanding related to federal and state-funded housing programs. Prior to her role with the state, she worked for ten different Arizona municipalities assisting with community development and housing programs. She also served as the Affordable Housing Advocate for the City of Phoenix where she created and began implementing the Housing Phoenix Plan.
Sheree holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning from Northern Arizona University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University.
