Landlord and Tenant Act
Under Arizona State law there are two Residential Landlord and Tenant Acts, one that pertains to standard rental housing and the other to renters in Mobile Home Parks.
Eviction Prevention Assistance
The Arizona Department of Housing is implementing a pilot program focusing on eviction prevention. The pilot service area is limited to specific target areas of the state where the courts are processing the highest number of evictions.
While the Civil Rights Division of the Arizona Attorney General's Office investigates and resolves housing discrimination complaints, ADOH takes an active role in the education and training of housing providers to ensure awareness of fair housing laws.
Hardest Hit Fund Reporting
The Save Our Home AZ (“SOHAZ”) Program offers assistance to reduce the occurrence of foreclosures in Arizona.
ADOH's Loan Servicing staff provide services to homeowners who may have a lien recorded against their homes by the Arizona Department of Housing, Arizona Housing Finance Authority, Arizona Department of Commerce or by the Arizona Home Foreclosure Prevention Funding Corporation.
Homeless Assistance Agencies
The Manufactured Housing Division maintains standards of safety for all manufactured homes, factory built buildings and accessory structures.
ADOH has partnered with Socialserve.com, a nationally known provider of database services for non-profit agencies. Socialserve provides a web-based, searchable database for affordable apartments across the state.
Save Our Home AZ
The Save Our Home AZ (“SOHAZ”) Program offers Principal Reduction Assistance, Monthly Mortgage Subsidy Assistance for under and unemployed Arizonans and Second Lien Elimination Assistance to qualified Arizona homeowners.

Weatherization Assistance Program
The Weatherization Program enables income-eligible families to reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient.
