Tara Brunetti joined the Arizona Department of Housing in December, as the Department’s new Assistant Deputy Director of Manufactured Housing & Building in 2018.
In this role, Ms. Brunetti provides leadership to the Manufactured Housing Division, which oversees the regulation of the manufactured housing and factory built building industry in Arizona, including licensing, inspecting, and other associated responsibilities. This division is designated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as Arizona’s State Administrative Agency for consumer complaints, and the In Plant Inspection Agency for monitoring the construction of homes in manufacturing factories.
Ms. Brunetti possesses over 18 years of federal contracting experience with the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to joining the Department, Ms. Brunetti was responsible for the contract compliance and efficiency of a federal regulated contract with the United States Citizenship and Naturalization Service. She successfully led cross-functional teams while ensuring site efficiencies, administration, safety, security and quality control. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Services and is working on her Doctorate in Performance Improvement Leadership.
