Per the 2024-2025 Amended Qualified Allocation Plan, ADOH conducted a survey of equity providers to determine appropriate investment assumptions. Based on the responses, the ranges for federal low income housing tax credit and state low income housing tax credit (STC) are:
Metro $0.80 - $0.85 (any application in Maricopa or Pima County)
Rural $0.78 - $0.82 (applications in all other counties)
Tribal $0.75 - $0.80 (applications on eligible Tribal land)
STC $0.51 to $0.61 (statewide)

ADOH is pleased to announce a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for funding through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), a federal funding source. This NOFA is for the creation and implementation or support of an existing Mortgage Assistance Program that shall be used to serve first time homebuyers in the purchase of owner occupied eligible properties.

ADOH is proposing to amend the HUD-approved HOME-ARP Allocation Plan to make changes in the method of distributing funds. The allocation plan is an amendment to the State’s PY2021 HUD Annual Allocation Plan.
