ADOH exhausted its allocations of HUD 811 Rental Assistance in 2023. As such, ADOH does not have 811 Rental Assistance available for the 2024 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credit (“LIHTC”) round.

2024 STATE LIHTC AWARDS ANNOUNCED (1ST ROUND)

ADOH is pleased to announce that it has reserved $2,000,000 in state tax credits for two projects comprised of 229 units in the 2024 State Low Income Housing Tax Credit 4% Metro round.

FY 2023 HUD CONTINUUM OF CARE NOFOS AZBOSCOC FUNDING ANNOUNCEMENT

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced the results of the 2023 HUD Continuum of Care NOFO process. The Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) as a Collaborative Applicant and United Funding Agency for the Arizona Balance of State Continuum of Care (AZBOSCOC) was awarded a total of $5,899,019.00. This award funded the renewal of 17 renewal permanent, rapid rehousing and transitional housing programs and supportive services for persons experiencing homelessness and domestic violence as well as funding to support the Balance of State Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), ADOH Planning, and ADOH Unified Funding Agency costs. CoC awarded programs provide housing and service in all thirteen Arizona Balance of State Counties.

2024 1ST ROUND STATE TAX CREDIT 4% METRO APPLICATIONS RECEIVED

ADOH received three (3) applications in response to the 2024 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credit Metro State Tax Credit Round (2024 STC 1st Round). The 4% LIHTC Metro STC Application List (February 2024 STC Application List) can be found on the ADOH Website.

SFY24 SHTF NOFA: FLEXIBLE FUNDS FOR PREVENTING HOUSING INSECURITY – Q&A AND PROPOSAL EXTENSION DEADLINE

On February 2, 2024, ADOH issued an Information Bulletin (IB 11-24) to announce a FY2024 State Housing Trust Fund Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Flexible Funds for Preventing Housing Insecurity. Proposal Extension Deadline The original deadline to submit project proposals has been extended from Friday, March 15, 2024, by 5:00 P.M. MST to Friday, March 22, 2024, by 5:00 P.M. MST.

FY2024 MILITARY TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FUND NOFA - REISSUED

ADOH is pleased to announce the reissuance of the 2024 Military Transitional Housing Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). This NOFA includes eligibility for Military Transitional Housing Funding. ADOH is to award this funding to one (1) successful Applicant based upon its review of submitted Proposal(s) pursuant to this NOFA. An applicant may be eligible to receive up to $1,900,000.00.

NOTICE OF CHANGES/UPDATES TO THE QUALIFIED CONTRACT LIST

ADOH is providing notice that the following Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) owner(s) have applied for a Qualified Contract and are being added to the Qualified Contract List:

  1. Sungate Villa/Prescott Valley, L.P. is the owner of a 64-unit LIHTC project in Prescott Valley, AZ;

  2. Valley View II/Prescott Valley, L.P. is the owner of a 72-unit LIHTC project in Prescott Valley, AZ;

In addition, notice is being given that the following LIHTC owner has completed the one (1) year marketing period and has been removed from the Qualified Contract List:

  1. Antelope Valley/Chino Valley, L.P.
