Housing Hero Awards
Housing Hero Awards recognize outstanding achievements by nominees in six categories. The awards are named in honor of the outstanding public service exemplified by the late Brian Mickelsen, an original member of the Arizona Housing Finance Authority and the city manager for the Town of Cottonwood.
HOUSING HERO CATEGORIES
The 2024 Housing Hero Awards will be presented at the Housing Hero Awards luncheon on Friday, August 23rd in conjunction with the 2024 Arizona Housing Forum at the We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort in Fort McDowell, Arizona. Entry deadline is June 21, 2024. Awards will be presented in the following six categories:

Urban Development of the Year

Rural Development of the Year

Developer Partner of the Year

Tribal Development of the Year

Arthur Crozier Partner in Housing Award

Advocate of the Year
CRITERIA

There is no entry fee.

Individuals or organizations are encouraged to nominate their projects/activities, but may also nominate those of others.

Review the categories above or review the Entry Form.

The nominated organization may be located in any state, but the accomplishment being honored must have resulted in a positive outcome for affordable housing in Arizona.

An innovation/project may be nominated for more than one category; however, it may only win in one category.

You may submit as many entries as you wish. Activities that have previously received a Housing Hero Award may not be nominated. View the Housing Hero Award Winners 2004-2023.

Complete and save the entry form, including any narrative or photo pages into a pdf file. Please name the pdf file with the name of the nominee.
