Executive Assistant

Olivia Gibala is the Assistant to the Executive Team at the Arizona Department of Housing. In this position, Ms. Gibala provides administrative and business support to all members of the Executive Team. Ms. Gibala serves as a key player in planning the Department’s annual Arizona Housing Forum, assists in the oversight of the State’s contracts and commitments and also provides a major role in the Department’s successful deployment of the Agency Scorecard as a part of the continued efforts to implement the Arizona Management System (AMS) principles.

Ms. Gibala started her state venture in 1992 when she worked as an intern for the Arizona Department of Commerce Energy Office. Then she transferred to the State’s housing programs and worked as a Contract Management Specialist from 1994-2002, when the State’s Housing Programs were located within the Arizona Department of Commerce.

Ms. Gibala also has over five years of experience in office management and ten years in the customer service arena. Ms. Gibala attended Phoenix College for general studies and studied Business Administration at ASU West.
