Manufactured Housing & Building Division - Fall 2020

Installation Permit Update

Installation Permit tracking has been a recent focus of the Arizona Department of Housing’s Manufactured Housing & Building Division. Due to procedural modifications, open permits can now be searched and sorted with ease. This change allows a list of open permits to be generated each month and aids in tracking installation permits that will soon expire. This management tool aids the Division in its communication with licensees as permits are managed from month to month. Installation Licensees should be on the lookout for monthly email reminders as permit expiration dates approach. More information regarding Installation Permits can be found on the Department’s website.

Modular Buildings and Operation Warp Speed

The Manufactured Housing & Building Division has been working in unison with the Arizona Department of Health Services, the U.S. Department of the Army and the U.S. Department of Emergency Management Affairs since this summer to support Operation Warp Speed. The Division is providing support to monitor and assist with the delivery, installation and inspection of modular buildings being used to supplement medical office space during the COVID-19 vaccine initiative, ensuring that installation permitting and inspections are coordinated as the locations and placement of modular buildings are identified.
