CONGRESSIONAL TAX REFORM EFFORTS

Federal Update ImageIt has been a very busy quarter at our Nation’s Capitol. In December, Federal Tax Reform made it to the President’s desk for signature. As the bills moved through the House and Senate, the affordable housing industry worked overtime, lobbying for the retention of low-income housing tax credits and private-activity bonds, both crucial tools utilized in every state to develop and preserve affordable rental units. As for the Federal Budget, Continuing Resolutions appear to be the standard for the near future.
