The Arizona Department of Housing is currently committed to or actively involved in financing 3,978 affordable rental units, in various stages of production: 1,153 in pre-development, and 2,678 currently under construction or renovation. Of the 2,678 in production, 1,129 units are expected to receive Certificates of Occupancy in the next quarter and be ready to receive new renters. Financing for an additional 147 units are also currently under review.

Mesa Heights Apartments - Yuma
On November 30, 2019, the Mesa Heights Apartments team in Yuma celebrated its grand opening of a new construction family project consisting of 58 units. Arizona Department of Housing’s allocation in Low Income Housing Tax Credits provided for a $13.3 million investment.
Rosewood Court I & II – Phoenix
The Rosewood Court team and its residents celebrated their grand opening in Phoenix on October 25, 2019. Both Rosewood Court I & II were financed through the Arizona Department of Housing’s Low-Income Tax Credit program which provided for a $17.5 million investment. Total construction consists of 84 low-income units for families, seniors and a preference for veterans.
