BUSINESS - MANUFACTURER LICENSE
A manufacturer is a person or entity that engages in manufacturing, assembling or reconstructing a manufactured home and/or a FBB.
You may obtain a fingerprint card from any company or the law enforcement agency that provides fingerprinting services or you may request the Department mail a fingerprint card to you. Apply for Manufacturer license at e-Licensing Solution.
A review will take place within five (5) business days of the date the application is submitted online. The review notice will advise of the remaining items that must be completed and/or provided to complete the licensing requirements.

CLASS: M-9A MANUFACTURER OF FBBs
BOND: $10,000.00
SCOPE: Manufactures or reconstructs FBBs.
CLASS: M-9C MANUFACTURER OF MANUFACTURED HOMES
BOND: $65,000.00
SCOPE: Manufactures or reconstructs manufactured homes.
CLASS: M-9E MASTER MANUFACTURER
BOND: $100,000.00
SCOPE: Performs work within the scope of classes M-9A and M-9C.
NOTE: THESE LICENSE SCOPES ALLOW FOR THE SALE OF UNITS TO LICENSED DEALERS/RETAILERS ONLY. IF YOU WISH TO SELL DIRECT TO THE END USER, YOU MUST ALSO OBTAIN THE PROPER DEALER/RETAILER LICENSE WITH THE DEPARTMENT.
“Reconstruction” means construction work performed for the purpose of restoration or modification of a unit by changing or adding structural components or electrical, plumbing or heat or air producing systems.
