Installation Permits

 

The Arizona Department of Housing’s purpose is to maintain standards of quality and safety for manufactured homes, factory-built buildings, mobile homes and accessory structures, including, but not limited to inspection of new installations for all mobile homes, manufactured homes and to enforce installation standards based on building codes and foundations plans.

INSTALLATION INSPECTION REQUEST INFORMATION

Once the permit has been issued from the Department, inspections are required to ensure the installation meets safety and code requirements. Below is the link with instructions for scheduling inspection:

INSTALLATION INSPECTOR CONTACT INFORMATION

Installation Inspectors are generally available between the hours:

Summer hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Winter hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
