ADOH Welcomes New Team Members

Cheryl Steech joined the Department on February 25th as an Affordable Multi-Family Housing Loan Specialist in the Rental Division. Cheryl has extensive experience with documents and procedures associated with facilitating the closing of multi-family commercial transactions. She has ten years of industry experience working at BNC National Bank and U.S. Bank. In addition to being a Certified Paralegal, Cheryl has a Bachelor's of Science in Management from ASU.

Gloria Castro joined the Department on February 11th as a Community Development & Revitalization Weatherization Specialist. For 11 years Gloria worked in weatherization project management with the Governor's Office of Energy and Arizona Department of Administration, before the programs were moved to ADOH.

Kaleena Bowers joined the Department on February 5th as a Community Development & Revitalization Programs Specialist. Kaleena comes to ADOH with years of experience in navigating regulations and processing high volumes of reading material and transactions. Recently, Kaleena interned at the Attorney General's Office processing and documenting case files. Kaleena holds a Master's Degree in Emergency Management and Homeland Security.

Zackary “Zack” Goetz joined the Department on January 28th as the Legislative Liaison. Most recently, Zack was the Statewide Field Director for Governor Ducey's successful re-election campaign. Zack has been working in the Legislative/Political field since 2013 when he completed his Bachelor of Science in Political Science at Arizona State University.

Employee of the Quarter for the 1st Quarter of 2019

Ryan Paris, is being honored as the Department’s Employee of the Quarter for the 1st Quarter of 2019. As an Installation Inspector for Arizona Department of Housing's Manufactured Housing Division, Mr. Paris was nominated for his outstanding teamwork, accountability and superior customer service. Most recently, Mr. Paris stepped in to resolve a misunderstanding concerning an installation authorization as related to a utility connection. Swift action of the part of Mr. Paris quickly corrected the misunderstanding to ensure no disruption of the homeowners’ ability to fully access their utilities. Well done, Ryan!
