ADOH Staffing News - Fall 2017
ADOH Announces New Assistant Deputy Director of Operations
Reginald Givens has been promoted to fill the position of Assistant Deputy Director of Operations. This position was left vacant with the promotion of Carol Ditmore to agency Director.
Reginald joined ADOH in 2009 to coordinate the Your Way Home Program, a temporary program utilizing economic recovery funding, designed to move new homeowners into foreclosed homes, as well as manage the National Mortgage Foreclosure Counseling award. When the State received the Hardest Hit Fund award from the U.S. Department of Treasury in 2010, Reginald helped design that program and was promoted to the position of Foreclosure Assistance Administrator, to oversee one of the largest divisions in the agency, and overseeing the agency’s largest grant to date. As of the end of September, that program has disbursed over $230 million in assistance. In Reginald’s new role, he will continue to oversee the Foreclosure Division, but will be delegating some of his former duties within the division. As the head of Operations he will oversee a number of other divisions within the agency, including Human Resources, Procurement, Finance & Accounting, Loan Servicing, Legal, Legislative Affairs & Communications, Information Technology, Facility Management, and Fleet.
Prior to joining the Department Reginald spent seven years working in the mortgage industry. He studied Business Management at Wayland Baptist University and served in the U.S. Marines.
