Arizona Management System Update - Spring 2017
We know a lean culture doesn’t happen overnight and that it requires a laser like focus on identifying and solving problems, developing our awesome team members and making process improvements. These efforts are not just occurring at ADOH rather in every Executive level agency as highlighted by the Governor in this interview with Forbes:

Implementing the Arizona Management System (AMS) is one of ADOH’s top priorities because while we may be doing great work, we know we can do it even better! The Department of Housing will continue its work in creating a culture that seeks out and eliminates waste so that we can better serve our customer (AKA you) better and faster! Don’t take our word for it, check out Rapid Re-Housing and Westward Ho Apartments Article or just come on down and get a tour of the huddle boards where results are measured daily.
The Department often boasts of the services our staff offer and we see no reason to stop now. Check this out:
- Our Accounting team has averaged 6 days or less to issue payments in the last 9 months!
- Our Hardest Hit Fund Team improved processes, allowing them to allocate $61.1 Million in 9 months by decreasing the amount of touches they needed to review each application.
