Housing Hero Awards

Housing Hero Awards recognize outstanding achievements by nominees in six categories. The awards are named in honor of the outstanding public service exemplified by the late Brian Mickelsen, an original member of the Arizona Housing Finance Authority and the city manager for the Town of Cottonwood.

HOUSING HERO CATEGORIES

The 2025 Housing Hero Awards will be presented at a luncheon on Friday, August 15, in conjunction with the 2025 Arizona Housing Forum at the JW Marriott Starr Pass in Tucson, Arizona.

Awards will be presented in the following six categories:

• Urban Development of the Year
• Rural Development of the Year
• Tribal Development of the Year
• CDBG Development of the Year
• Developer Partner of the Year
• Arthur Crozier Partner in Housing Award
